National Weatherman Day

I just found out it was National Weatherman Day! According to the National Weather Service, NWD commemorates the birth of John Jeffries in 1744. Who's John Jeffries? Well, he was one of America's first weather observers. NWD is a day to recognize the men and women who collectively provide people with the best weather, water and climate forecasts and warning services of any nation.
