New Life

I was recently visiting my friend's house in south Springfield. We discovered a few weeks back that a bird had made a nest. Well, the eggs in the nest hatched soon after and four new birds were born into this world. Everyday I watched the mother hunt for food and return to feed her youngsters. I took a picture of the birds while the mother was out (see below). About a week or so later, each of the little birds flew away to start a new life. It was quite an amazing thing to witness.
