If you haven't heard by now, Dona Ana County District Attorney Susana Martinez, the Republican candidate for Governor of New Mexico won the race beating Democrat Lt. Governor Diane Denish. Martinez who lives in Las Cruces will become the first woman ever to govern New Mexico and the first Hispanic woman in the country to govern a state.
