One of the main news anchors at CNN who I got to know as part of NAHJ once told me about the"drama" I would experience in medium/small markets. Boy, was she right on the money! I would of never imagined. Her words, "it will get better."
Every other day when I'm confronted with "issues," and people who like to make things "difficult," I think of her advice. I also think of my abuelita's words of wisdoms to get me by. "Don't give In, Don't give up." I also think of my future and pray I continue doing what I love doing the most...without going crazy! lol
