Mornings with Carlos

So this is what I started waking up to this week (see picture). Okay, not really. Usually when I get up (2:30 a.m.) it's totally dark outside. There is hardly anyone on the road and most of Springfield is sleeping.

I began working the dreadful AM shift to help out with vacant position which I think became open six months ago. Honestly, now that I have experienced again...I don't really mind it.

Back in Chicago when I was a field producer at NBC 5, I was up every Sunday morning at the same time. Ugh! For a college student it was sure torture, but I adapted.

I'm sure I'll adapt to the next six months, too.
