And the nominees are...


The 63rd annual Golden Globe Awards were announced this morning in Hollywood. Some of my favorite TV shows were among the nominees:

Eva Longoria along with Maria Cross, Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman of "Desperate Housewives," are up for Best Actress in a TV Comedy. The ABC show is also nominated for Best Comedy Series.

Another ABC show, "Grey's Anatomy," is nominated for Best TV Drama Series. Sandra Oh is up for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama Series and Patrick Dempsey is up for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series.

"Commander-In-Chief," also of ABC is up for Best TV Drama Series as well. Its star Geena Davis is up for Best Actress in a TV Drama Series.

FOX's "Prison Break," is up for Best TV Drama. Its star Wentworth Miller is up for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series.

NBC star Patricia Arquette is up for Best Actress in a TV Drama Series for "Medium."

ABC's "Lost," is up for Best TV Drama Series. The show's stars Matthew Fox is up for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series and Naveen Andrews is up for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Drama Series.

Candice Bergen of ABC's "Boston Legal," is up for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama Series.
Kiefer Sutherland of FOX's "24," is up for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series. His father, Donald Sutherland of ABC's "Commander-In-Chief," is up for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Drama Series.

The 63rd annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast on NBC January 16th.
