ABC's Elizabeth Vargas is taking over 'World News Tonight,' along side Bob Woodruff. Vargas who will continue hosting '20/20' for the network will be the first chief network anchor with Hispanic heritage. She told the Associated Press "I'm so proud." Vargas' father is from Puerto Rico and her mother is Irish. "I know what this means to Hispanics in this country...to have people who look like you and talk like you in positions of importance," she adds.
