SATO48 stands for Springfield and The Ozarks 48 hour film challenge. It was held a couple of weeks ago and I was honored to be asked to judge the event. Area filmmakers had 48 hours to come up with a 5 minute movie. Then, they had to write, shoot and edit. This year SATO had exactly 48 entries and people's movies ranged from horror themes to comedies and from action/adventure to films about nothing. It was a great experience and I can't wait for the awards ceremony which is coming up on May 16th. Congrats to all the filmmakers for entertaining me and the Ozarks!
